My old party friend, Esther, got married today. We put our crazy days behind and we now share cooking recipes like old ladies but we certainly have a lot of fun every time we meet.   She gave me a double duty as her photographer and her bridesmaid, it made the wedding experience extra special. This was my first time asking my fiance, Joe, to help me take pictures. The cover picture was taken by Joe! Can you believe it? He kept saying “Gahhh….I don’t know what I am doing….” while taking this photo. Good job partner!!The best part of this wedding was seeing Esther and Jeff dance. Esther looked gorgeous and Jeff danced surprisingly well! Don’t ask me why but I cried again….

My cousin Dylan and his beautiful girlfriend, Jessica, got married today after years and years of dating! I had been wondering why they didn’t get married sooner but I think he had been waiting for the perfect moment like this. Congratulations to both of you, I am so happy for you two!!!

I met the sweetest couple Lauren and John today and found out we went to the same high school! Her wedding took place at her grandfather’s beautiful lake house in Orange, TX. Lauren created inspirational DYI lake house wedding, she prepared all the details of her wedding that includes baking her own cake on the morning of her ceremony. Most brides would panic to be in charge of all the things she did but Lauren calmly enjoyed her day.  Everything was wedding-magazine perfect, she got me busy taking notes all night. I don’t know how she pulled it all together by herself but she’s got some serious talent!
